Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the Fevidence of things not seen. Every believer has a measure of faith, and is expected to walk by faith not by sight. Faith comes as we keep hearing, studying and meditating on the word of God. If you must live a life of exploits, you must grow in faith.

Let’s consider a few reasons you should grow in faith: 1. Salvation:

1. Salvation: We are saved by grace through faith. It takes faith in Jesus Christ and in His finished work for anyone to be saved. Therefore, until you have faith, you cannot be saved. John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 3:36, Acts 16:33

2. Life, divine empowerment and victory. Faith is required to live a supernatural life. It is the shield of faith that quenches the fiery darts of the wicked. To live without faith is to be exposed to the evil and wickedness of the world. Faith guarantees victory. 1 John 5:4, Galatians 2:20, Hebrews 10:38, Ephesians 6:16.

3. Divine Access. It takes faith to access God. The Bible refers to anything done without faith as sin, God hates sin and sin disconnects people from God. To please God and access Him, you must have faith. Hebrew 11:6, Romans 14:23b, Isaiah 59:2, Hebrews 4:16, Romans 5:1-2.

To enjoy the best of God, you must grow your faith in Him. You cannot access the promises and blessings of God without faith. Make up your mind today to grow your faith by studying and meditating on God’s word as well as to Gospel messages from your God ordained pastors.

1 John 5:4

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

How qualitative and consistent is your Bible study? How often do you listen to your pastor’s messages.
